Itinerary
- Welcome to Cape Town! Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a Travcare representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Cape Town is one of the world’s most popular travel destinations, known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. With Table Mountain behind you and Robben Island ahead, you are facing north across Table Bay and the west coast of Africa. Overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, proceed for a half-day Mother City tour of Cape Town. Enjoy a scenic coastal drive through Clifton and Sea Point while passing major landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Castle of Good Hope, and the Iziko South African Museum. Continue to historic areas like District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge, and Greenmarket Square. Later enjoy a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for breathtaking views over the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, depart for a full-day tour of the spectacular Cape Peninsula. Drive along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard passing Sea Point, Camps Bay, Clifton, and Llandudno towards Hout Bay. Continue through Noordhoek and Scarborough to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and enjoy the funicular ride on the “Flying Dutchman.” Later visit Boulders Beach to see the famous colony of African penguins and stop at Simon's Town before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cape Town.
- After breakfast, check out and travel to Oudtshoorn, known as the “Feather Capital of the World” due to its thriving ostrich industry. The journey covers approximately 421 km and takes around 5½ hours. Upon arrival, enjoy a visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch where you can see crocodiles and have the opportunity to take pictures with cheetahs. Later check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, visit the famous Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders known for its stunning limestone formations. Later enjoy a visit to an Ostrich Farm before continuing your journey to Knysna (approx. 119 km). In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the beautiful Knysna Lagoon with views of the famous sandstone cliffs known as the Knysna Heads. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Knysna.
- After breakfast, transfer to George Airport to board your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, meet your representative and continue by road to Sun City Resort (approx. 175 km). The resort features golf courses, swimming pools, a large man-made lake, and numerous entertainment options. You may relax at Valley of Waves or explore the gardens of The Palace of the Lost City. Overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure at Sun City Resort. You may explore the entertainment complex, try your luck at the casino, or relax by the pool. Optional game drives are available to the nearby Pilanesberg National Park to see the famous Big Five wildlife (optional and at additional cost). Overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, depart for Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and oldest wildlife reserves. The journey takes approximately 7–8 hours depending on the lodge location. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many bird species. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
- Early morning collect a packed breakfast and proceed for an exciting game drive inside Kruger National Park. Keep an eye out for the famous Big Five and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Enjoy lunch at your own expense and continue with an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s incredible biodiversity. Overnight stay at the lodge.
- After breakfast, check out from the lodge and transfer to O. R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for your onward flight back home. Depart with unforgettable memories of your South African adventure.
