Itinerary
- Welcome to Armenia! Upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred for a city tour. Visit Mother Armenia Monument located in Victory Park, symbolizing peace through strength. Continue to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex at Tsitsernakaberd, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Explore the famous Yerevan Cascade, followed by Republic Square, Yerevan known for its beautiful architecture and dancing fountains. Later visit Vernissage Market, the city’s popular open-air market for souvenirs and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
- After breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion to Lake Sevan, the largest lake in Armenia and one of the biggest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Visit the historic Sevanavank Monastery located on a peninsula offering breathtaking views of the lake. Continue to the mountain resort town of Tsaghkadzor, known for its beautiful landscapes and pleasant climate. Enjoy an optional ride on the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway for panoramic mountain views. Also visit the historic Kecharis Monastery before returning to Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
- After breakfast, depart for a cultural excursion outside the city. Stop at Charents Arch for a spectacular view of the legendary Mount Ararat and the surrounding valley. Continue to the famous Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, showcasing classical Hellenistic architecture. Later visit the remarkable Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site partially carved into the surrounding rock cliffs and famous for its spiritual significance. After the tour, return to Yerevan. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Zvartnots International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with wonderful memories of Armenia’s history, culture, and scenic beauty.
